Trump vs. Elon
Elon is visibly frustrated—used publicly as a symbol to promote DOGE, while behind the scenes, Trump pushes a $4 trillion deficit through a so-called tax bill that completely undermines DOGE’s mission.
Trump’s inner circle has never been particularly fond of Elon.
But Elon is one of the few people who can’t resist speaking his mind—a rare trait in political and corporate circles.
Meanwhile, Trump’s “art of negotiation” tariff strategy is heading toward failure. These tariffs may eventually be unilaterally rolled back under the guise of negotiation wins, but not before irritating strategic world leaders.
Allies like Europe, Canada, and Mexico are now hesitant to visit the White House, concerned about potential public insults or awkward interactions.
So far, their only point of credibility within the administration was Elon—someone seen as a rational and forward-thinking voice.
Now, he’s drifting away, and that connection is fading.
If the White House is serious about preserving global confidence, it needs to repair ties with Elon—at least through the midterm elections.

I will NOT vote for any bill that destroys states rights and lets AI run wild for the next 10 years.
AI will replace jobs, especially in the press. This is not a left or right issue. It’s about humanity. I’ll go to the mat on this.

About 99% of American politics is just a variety of scams designed to loot the treasury.
That explains almost everything you see.
They are bank robbers. Your money is in the vault. Everything is a new scam to crack the safe and make off with the cash. https://t.co/AD8845xaFU

The biggest tax will be when you must monetize the debt to pay for the BBB. The resulting inflation will substantially harm poor and middle class families. You should advise the President to remove the $300b SALT bribe to NY and CA millionaires. His 2017 TCJA didn’t have it. https://t.co/WJis0LSPU8

I think every American, left, right, or center can agree that Congress is corrupted beyond repair.
They fuel so much of this ire because THEY NEVER GET ANYTHING DONE FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.
They are the enemy within.

Ron Johnson on Trump’s bill: “It’s easy to be the parent that says, ‘We’re going to go to Disneyworld!’ It’s hard to be the parent that says, ‘Yeah but we can’t afford it. … I need a commitment to return to a reasonable pre-pandemic level of spending.” pic.twitter.com/VNCDgrWVRP

🚨 RAND PAUL: “We’ve now increased spending at the get go more than all the DOGE cuts. I think @elonmusk did an amazing job, and we’re dwarfing it with new spending … This has always been … a bill that was hijacked & conceived of by Lindsey Graham to explode the military caps.”… pic.twitter.com/E3gbAwVRpt
