Ukraine’s Mobilization Age May be Reduced to 18–20 Years in Early 2025, According to a Rada Adviser

Western partners have pushed for this since 2022, and the decision is expected by March. However, a member of Ukraine’s Defense Committee, Fyodor Venislavsky, denied such plans.

The U.S. has repeatedly urged Ukraine to lower the age, while Putin claims Ukrainian activists will agree to the change and then flee abroad.
