MS Now lost it on live television last night over the conservative media’s takeover of MS Now, calling us “state media” and suggesting that we receive financial benefits from the White House like free airfare on the President’s plane.
“The Weekend” co-anchor Jonathan Capehart lambasted the fact that conservative media outlets have replaced far-left mainstream media outlets in White House press pool duties, suggesting that there is somehow no financial burden on the new outlets.
“The TV press pool provides coverage, both print and TV and audio, but the networks pay for the pay to do that,” he said. “And when it comes to Air Force One, the networks, the folks in the pool, they have to pay for those seats!”
“When you were traveling on Air Force One with Politico, you had to pay for those seats. The question now is, are Lindell TV and America’s radios whatever, are they paying for those seats? And if not, who is?” he then asked his co-host, Eugene Daniels.
Daniels, who previously ruled over the White House press corps as White House Correspondents’ Association President until 2025, then claimed, “that is a question that many of us have, and we have had for a long time since the White House took over the press pool.”
The ex-Biden regime media leader further attacked conservative media as “the friends of Trump” and “state media.”
“Are those folks also paying the same amount that everyone else in the pool is paying? Right? Are they getting? Are they? Are they doing all the same things? Do they have all the same restrictions that the regular reporters have?” he continued.
“So far, we don’t really have a big answer to that, and that’s one of the reasons why you haven’t had you know random news organizations on Air Force One or traveling with the president because it’s very expensive.”
This is just an example of the hostility conservative outlets face under the White House Correspondents’ Association monopoly.
Ironically, Eugene Daniels is a former Politico reporter, and while he was there, the outlet received $8 million from the federal government under Biden.
For the record, yes, it can be very expensive to travel with the President. And yes, The Gateway Pundit and other conservative media outlets pay our own way.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, CNN had a similar meltdown on air yesterday during the President’s trip to Tennessee, which was covered by Real America’s Voice and The Gateway Pundit.
The so-called pundits also lied about the outlets and falsely claimed that the television pool coverage was not available to their network, while maintaining that their boycott of Trump would continue.
