I fully think that probably 200-300 million died during COVID. This has happened before in communist nations. The Soviets often under reported deaths from famine, disease, and disasters. These is not new for China Mao lost roughly 40 million during the famine linked to the Great Leap Forward. Further, their economy was in a freefall before the tariffs hit. Tariffs just made their economic breakdown worse. Soon China will not be able to make war on its neighbors due to a reduced and poor population. I will pray they recover but the CCP must go first.

What’s happening in China is happening all over the world. Whether it’s the city or in the country. Some of the humans on our planet are selfish and greedy! I am not thinking that people should be given a handout. But at least give them an opportunity to be self sufficient.
Some people who run corporations are greedy because they don’t pay people a lot yet they want a lot of work out of them. The people aren’t being paid enough to truly take care of themselves or a family! In America we have homeless seniors. There should be no homeless anywhere! But the owners of Apartments and houses know that the average person does not make a lot of money. Yet they charge way too much for each space a person rents. And that is where the greed truly comes in. They are not concerned about other human beings, they are concerned about their profit. I think a lot of people assume that if a person is homeless it is their own fault. Not necessarily. Life has a way of having a domino effect. One mishaps after another and you are living in a car or in a tent. It is very sad and very hurtful to know that this is the way a lot of humans think of one another. Please, let’s do our part and be more loving to people who don’t have as much. When there’s opportunity to help let’s help one another. Those that have an abundance hopefully will do more than they are doing.

China must not suffer from hunger! You only lost big sources of income. You are still the top producing ciuntry when it comes to agriculture. Please don’t panic. Leave your machines and your factory jobs and focus in agriculture. Don’t wait for your government to help you. Go back to basic and focus on farming. Please don’t get lost.

Not sure if US is any better. Given US is a wealthy nation but homelessness and poverty are still rampant. Drugs/guns/violence and other vices still not under control. I guess people in China have it worse because there is no such thing as get treatment for an emergency regardless of ability to pay or some welfare system that people can rely on for food stamps. It sucks to see people losing their livelihood when there is no safety net of any kind. It’s not true that many Chinese people still have a home when they don’t have a job…maybe only in older villages.
