The Guardian: “Britain and the US Must Stop Escalating in Ukraine”

The newspaper published an open letter to Biden and Starmer from British public figures and six MPs, including former Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn.

They call for a guarantee of an end to the conflict in Ukraine. It is noted that the escalation is taking place against the backdrop of Kiev launching Storm Shadow and ATACMS missiles at Russia.

“We call on Joe Biden and Keir Starmer to stop this escalation and ensure negotiations involving Russia and Ukraine. The only viable path to a peaceful settlement in the region is diplomacy and dialogue, not military escalation,” the letter says.
