Please beware that VPNs are not going to save Australians from eSafety Karen.
The legislation (that Labor and Liberal passed) empowers eSafety Karen to force the platforms to use AI to hunt down Australians using VPNs
And then force those Australians using VPNs to submit to the demands for Digital ID and biometric facial scanning – otherwise their accounts will be deleted.
So if you you are using a VPN and post any content that identifies you as an Australia, for example;
“the surf was great at Bondi”
“I’m going to the MCG to watch the cricket”
“Albanese is our worst PM ever”
You will be forced to comply.
Get ready Australia – on the 10th December, unless you have submitted to eSafety Karen’s dictates to have Digital ID and are prepared to undergo biometric facial scanning – you won’t be able to access YouTube, X or Facebook.
