Many people can’t leave the cities, they don’t have the funds or resources, so that’s a big reason, I’m sure many want to leave but can’t. I was lucky I was able to leave NYC, but all I did was leave a major blue city and go to a smaller blue one, that was my only choice. Hopefully I can now move on to a small town, preferably a red one. But you need to realize that it’s not so simple to just up and leave, it takes money, and I don’t mean just to travel, but to even find an affordable apartment, or buy a house, etc. This is an extremely difficult thing for many of us, especially now.

The thought occurs to me that parents of supposed transgender children are getting the same personal psychological benefit as those with Munchausen’s by Proxy syndrome where they deliberately cause health damage to their children so as to personally gain sympathy and attention from others.
