Footage shows destroyed buildings and smoke rising from the attacks on the Al-Amrousieh neighborhood in Choueifat, following the Israeli army’s request for the evacuation of new neighborhoods in Beirut’s southern suburbs.
It came as Israel launched a ‘limited and targeted’ ground incursion into southern Lebanon on Tuesday, following over a week of airstrikes on Hezbollah targets.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the death toll from strikes across various parts of the country on Tuesday had reached 55, with over 1,200 killed and more than 7,000 injured since last week.
