Assange Wife Spars With John Bolton

The wife of jailed activist Julian Assange has gone head-to-head with former US national security advisor John Bolton in Piers Morgan’s show.
Bolton said the WikiLeaks co-founder “committed clear criminal activity” by publishing leaked classified documents, arguing that “the information that he divulged put many people in jeopardy”. “I hope he gets at least 176 years in jail for what he did,” Bolton added.
Stella Assange responded by saying that “Bolton sought to undermine the international legal system and ensure that the US is not under the International Criminal Court’s jurisdiction. And if it was, Mr. Bolton might be prosecuted under the ICC. He was one of the chief cheerleaders of the Iraq war, which Julian then exposed through these leaks.”
