President Trump delivers remarks in Dayton, Ohio – October 3, 2026

President Trump on Saturday told supporters that Republicans are going to “win big” against the Democrats in November and “shove it up their ass.”

“Tonight, you see the spirit,” Trump said. “It’s like that in Texas. It’s like that all over. And I tell you, they’re in for a big surprise. They’re in for a big surprise. You just gotta — very simple, you got to get out and vote.”

Trump continued, “If you do that, we’re going to win, and we’re going to win big.”

“And we’re going to shove it up their ass,” he added, gesturing straight to the cameras.

Trump went on to slam the fake news and their polls on his approval rating going into the midterms in a Truth Social post this morning, writing, “The Polls have ALWAYS underestimated MAGA.”

“They try to suppress the Vote, but I won all 7 Swing States, the Popular Vote, 86% of Counties, and 99% of Primaries this year. I AM ON THE BALLOT! President DONALD J. TRUMP,” he added.

He further published the following message from longtime political consultant and Trump consultant Dick Morris:

“Since November of 2025 in monthly polls by McLaughlin, your job approval rating has always been between 47 and 50 percent. I have never seen anything like that in fifty years of polling. Almost every politician sees his numbers rise and fall each month but not you. You won the election in 2024 with 49.8 percent of the popular vote and the latest McLaughlin Poll, taken this month, has your job approval at 49% – the exact same as your vote share. No other political figure has ever had this level of consistency in his ratings. Through the Iran War and gas price rises and falls, your job approval is the same. It never changes. And 49% is enough to win – look at how that level of vote won in 2024! In the same Mclaughlin Poll, the generic ballot is 50-48 Democrat. That is also enough to keep the House Republican. Past history indicates that anything less than a four point margin for Democrats likely points to a Republican House victory. And almost all polls are showing Republican gains in the generic ballot.”

The remarks came during a rally in deep red Ohio last night, where Trump was campaigning for Senator John Husted and Republican gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.

“We’re going to be campaigning for a couple of very good people. Vivek [Ramaswamy], we know about. As you know, Senator Husted is running a race against Brown, who’s horrible. They threw him out of the Senate once before. He’s horrible, and they should have success,” Trump told reporters ahead of the rally.

“We have a tremendous crowd of people. I won Ohio three times. We got the highest vote in the history of the state, so I like it very much. I love the people of Ohio, and we’re going to spend a little time.”

Trump’s stop in Ohio was his fourth rally in just three days after hitting Texas and Oklahoma on Thursday and Alabama on Friday.

Trump is expected to hold five to seven rallies a week during an October blitz.
