President Trump on Friday afternoon stopped to chat with reporters before boarding Marine One en route to Mobile, Alabama.
Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked President Trump about a third possible impeachment if the Democrats take control of Congress in the midterms.
Outgoing Democrat Rep. Al Green has initiated impeachment resolution against Trump too many times to count.
Rep. Green’s latest impeachment resolution failed with many Democrats voting “present.”
Top Democrats, including House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, are distancing themselves from impeachment talk…for now.
President Trump brushed off potential future impeachments as “fake.”
“You’ve already been impeached twice, so what’s a third time?” Peter Doocy asked President Trump.
“Well, I don’t know, but I’m getting good at it,” Trump joked.
President Trump then took a swipe at Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton.
“We could have done that with Sleepy Joe, but we didn’t do it because it wouldn’t have been appropriate,” Trump said.
“I could have done that with Hillary Clinton, as you know. I’d have the chance to do it if I wanted. And I said that would be inappropriate. But with me, they like to do it,” he said.
