President Trump on Monday traveled to Grand Island, Nebraska, to campaign for Republican Senator Pete Ricketts ahead of the midterm elections.
The President will focus on addressing concerns from farmers.
“Under President Trump and Republican leadership, families in the Cornhusker State are keeping more of what they earn, farmers and ranchers are getting direct support, private investment is expanding production, and crime is falling in the state’s largest cities,” the White House said ahead of Trump’s visit.
“President Trump’s Working Families Tax Cuts stopped the largest tax hike in American history and put money back in Nebraskans’ pockets,” the White House added.
“President Trump’s America First agenda is delivering real dollars and new market access to the producers who feed the country,” they said.
“We’re going to Nebraska, for a great governor and a great future Senator, and it’s going to be very successful. They have massive crowds as always, and we’re going to do a good job for them,” Trump said on the tarmac at Joint Base Andrews.
Trump supporters lined up as far as the eye could see hours ahead of the Nebraska rally.
