Vice President JD Vance and President Trump will deliver remarks tonight to close the first-ever Republican National Committee (RNC) midterm convention.
Trump spoke for nearly two hours last night during the keynote address of the convention’s first day, during which he energized the crowd to turn out for Republicans this election cycle.
At one point, he took aim at radical Texas Democrat James Talarico with comedy gold, describing his anti-meat campaign as a “campaign to beat meat,” the Gateway Pundit reported.
“He was also somebody that hated eating meat. He ran a campaign to beat meat. He called it ‘beat meat!’” Trump said of the Texas Democrat. “I don’t know what the hell he meant by that.”

Another notable moment was Trump’s announcement that he will give a $5,000 dividend to every adult man and woman in the country if Republicans retain the House and Senate majorities this election cycle. “The country is doing so well— we’ve taken in trillions of dollars in tariffs and other things. We have now over $20 trillion worth of manufacturing plants and other investments being made in the United States, which is far greater than ever before,” Trump explained in an interview earlier today.
