FBI Director Kash Patel was photographed celebrating with attorney Sigal Chattah, the prosecutor who let an Israeli official flee home instead of facing child sex charges.
FBI Director Kash Patel spent Saturday night at Alina Habba’s New York wedding with Sigal Chattah, the prosecutor who publicly blasted Nevada officials after an Israeli cyber official arrested in a child-sex sting posted bail and returned to Israel.
Chattah herself posted the photo of Patel standing beside her at the celebration for Habba and Turhan Mildon. The New York Post reported that Patel attended the Waldorf Astoria event alongside Attorney General Todd Blanche.
The party photo revives the unresolved scandal around Tom Artiom Alexandrovich, an Israeli National Cyber Directorate official. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said Alexandrovich was one of eight people arrested in its 2025 undercover operation and that all faced felony child-luring charges.
Alexandrovich posted the standard $10,000 bond the next day, left before seeing a judge, and returned to Israel. The State Department denied that federal officials intervened.
Chattah did not run the state case. Her own Justice Department statement said the Clark County District Attorney’s Office controlled the prosecution. Yet she publicly singled out the local district attorney and judge after Alexandrovich departed.
A grand jury later indicted Alexandrovich, and a judge denied his bid to throw out the case, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. Last month, the Ninth Circuit affirmed Chattah’s disqualification from supervising three federal cases after finding the administration could not lawfully install her as acting U.S. attorney.
