Recall that CNN justified the FBI’s raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in August 2022.
Biden’s FBI raided Mar-a-Lago shortly before the midterms and seized classified documents lawfully stored at Trump’s Florida estate.
CNN boasted about the raid with a “no one is above the law” attitude.
“It is a federal crime to remove classified documents wrongly. And so if you are filling out that affidavit and you have to list the crime, you can list that as the crime,” Elie Honig, a former federal and state prosecutor and a CNN senior legal analyst, said at the time of the raid.
