Trump-Backed Challenger Skips Every Debate, Refuses to Release His “Leather Binder” Record, and Tells Voters They’re Sheep Who Should Just Trust Him
Kentucky congressional candidate Ed Gallrein is asking voters for total, blind trust.
The retired Navy captain is challenging incumbent Rep. Thomas Massie with a campaign built on a “top secret” record that he refuses to share.
Gallrein’s pitch is simple: President Trump has seen the file, so you don’t need to.
He repeatedly cites a mysterious “leather binder” in the Oval Office as his ultimate qualification.
There’s just one problem:
American voters aren’t allowed to see what’s inside.
“Without missing a lick, he turned to me and he goes, ‘Ed?’ He says, ‘I want you to go home. You talk to your family, you pray on this, and you think about it. I’m going to endorse you on whatever you do.’
You know why he said that? Remember that top-secret record?
He knows me.
He knows everything about me.
He knows what I did for you in uniform.
He knows what I’ll do for you in Washington.
I’ll be your champion. I will serve you, I’ll serve our party, and I’ll serve our nation. I’m asking for your vote.” – Ed Gallrein
