The country just took six mass shootings in thirty-six hours and pretends everything is fine. Kids, tourists, ordinary people were shot in Alexandria, Southport, Raleigh, Grand Blanc, New Orleans, and Eagle Pass. Highway ambushes, churches, casinos, parking lots, violence shows up everywhere. Police read the same scripts. Mayors hold the same statements. But this isn’t random. It’s speeding up. And the federal silence isn’t neglect. It’s acceptance.
“On September 27, 2025, a person opened fire from a boat in the Intracoastal Waterway at the American Fish Company in Southport, North Carolina. Three people were killed and five were injured.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2025_Southport_shooting
“The Southport Police Department arrested and charged 40-year-old Nigel Max Edge of New City, New York… Edge was charged with three counts of first-degree murder, five counts of attempted murder, and five counts of assault with a deadly weapon.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2025_Southport_shooting
Edge came by boat, fired into a crowd of tourists, and vanished before being caught. He used a short-barreled AR-15 with a suppressor. He was a decorated Marine sniper with a published manifesto accusing the government of betrayal. The nation should be in shock. Instead, it barely registered before the next city bled.
Grand Blanc, Michigan, ten were shot in a church with a child among them. Eagle Pass, Texas, seven were shot in a casino with two dead. New Orleans, four were shot on Bourbon Street including a tourist. Raleigh, four were shot in a parking lot. Alexandria, four were shot on a highway. Thirty-six hours, six cities, thirty-seven wounded, nine dead.
