Foreign Minister Penny Wong has addressed the World Health Organization on behalf of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, welcoming the adoption of the WHO Pandemic Agreement.
In her official statement she says, “Australia will commence its treaty making process once the agreement opens for signature, which is not expected until at least mid-2026.”
