While the UK, France, and Germany are in the mood to ask, they should also ask President Putin to resign and ask for surrender. What is the harm in asking! /s These guys have just lost their minds. They are not telling Russia, they are talking to their gullible citizens and telling them that all is well and we are winning.

We all remember that Russia wanted to declare a ceasefire at Easter 2022 and Waldemar said he wouldn’t give the Russians a ceasefire because they just want to improve their position. Then we can do it now if Russia rejects it this time. And what Russia offered was at least a real ceasefire and not these clearly unilateral restrictions

European leaders are making plans but not consulting the one party that needs to agree all while undermining the only middle man willing to try and bring people to the table. It’s beyond stupid.

Seems to me every aspect of the proposed cease fire Russia currently has the upper hand in, particularly air and missile dominance. But I think the real reason is so France and other NATO countries can get NATO troops to the line of contact without being bomb before they can get there. The cease fire wouldn’t stop troop movement so I could see them trying something like this. I think Russia has dealt with NATO European countries enough to know they are not to be trusted and always have something up their sleeves.

These people are insane. Russia will not commit to a cease fire, I doubt they will even allow a withdraw of Ukrainian forces. They’ve already fallen for that twice, which in itself astounds me. Ukraine had many opportunities, they’ve blown every chance they’re going to get. If Europe had any sense, they would bow out and cut their losses before it’s too late.
