On a good day, Sumy is about 4hrs drive from Kiev, a bit over 300 kilometres! Now, if you were a Russian strategist and you wanted to suck a few more poor, bloody Ukrainian soldiers away from some place where things are bogging down a bit, where else but Sumy would you make a push into Ukraine? Nice place to make the feint to the “head” (Kiev”) that exposes the groin (Odessa) for a bit of a “kicking”?

Russian unit Rubicon completed job in Pokrovsk- Mirnograd area. There might be just handful of isolated Ukrainian soldiers hiding there and plenty of mines and boobytraps, but no need for extensive drone use.

Any contest between Zalushny and Budanov is irrelevant because the Russian objectives for the SMO include de-nazification which precludes both of these two when the conflict ends.

Ukraine keeps sending their Army into a meatgrinder in Coopins, and say nobody is giving up. Well they are losing a huge amount of men and equipment, so their fight is another loser. Very reminicent of Krinky. Sooner or later, Ukraine won’t have an army, which is a good thing.

Really appears like ukranian troop formations are very sparse 5 soldiers here 3 there 26 is the year for Russians to add a 100k and brute force take couple oblasti Zaporizhzinia and Dniepropietrowsk 1st half of year.

We’re increasingly relying on individuals who are most likely corrupt. For example, we very rarely see snowy pictures of the situation in Kupiansk. I’m believing these lying guys less and less. They should finally compromise and leave the poor men alone!
