An officer of Ukraine’s military intelligence (HUR) has tried to use his agency’s resources to kidnap his own son from Russia, the FSB security service has claimed.
The Russian service reported on Thursday that it had caught HUR agents illegally crossing the border from Lithuania to Russia’s exclave of Kaliningrad.
“A secondary goal of the operation was the kidnapping and cross-border smuggling of an underage Russian citizen, who is the son of an HUR staff member,” the statement said.
People involved in the operation confirmed on camera that they were tasked with a kidnapping on Russian soil.
The FSB said that it had managed to thwart the infiltration, after identifying a Ukrainian citizen, who was trying to find weak spots in the Russian border by asking locals questions and filming the area. The Russian agency apparently let Kiev’s agent continue his activities in order to intercept accomplices or other Illegals attempting to cross the border.
The case is being treated as suspected espionage and an investigation is ongoing, the statement said. – RT

Ukraine’s Kursk offensive was a Blessing to Russia.
Russians began advancing in Donbass in kilometres, as opposed to square meters previously.
It also took away Ukrainian troops into the Kursk killbox, worse, the Russians are not allowing the battle hardened and experienced fighters escape.
Cumulatively, Ukraine is losing territory and experienced manpower at an accelerated rate now.

It may be that the moment is not far that the Russians will send warnings to individual NATO states, like NL, like DK, like CZ, for their uncontrolled, manic, irrational show of aggression against Russia. Not the user of the weapons will just be punished, but it may be that also the deliverer or producer or trainer will be “co-punished”. It sounds like a just act.

Russian forces have completely liberated the town of Ugledar in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the Defense Ministry in Moscow has confirmed.
Ukrainian forces had controlled the settlement since 2014, when the DPR declared independence following a US-backed coup in Kiev. Ugledar was a strategically important position, featuring high-rise buildings overlooking the surrounding plain.
“As a result of conclusive operations by the units of the ‘East’ group of forces, the town of Ugledar in the DPR has been liberated,” the Russian Defense Ministry announced on Thursday.
Video footage and images of Russian troops in control of Ugledar appeared on social media on Wednesday, showing a flag raised over its administration building. Later in the day, the Ukrainian high command said it had ordered “a maneuver of withdrawal” from the town. It was unclear whether any units had actually been able to leave the operational encirclement.
According to a security source who spoke to TASS news agency, Russian forces had almost completed “mopped up” the Ukrainian resistance as of Wednesday afternoon. Some of Kiev’s units had suffered “huge losses” after not being able to leave, the source added. – RT
