Kursk, 1943. That event where the Soviets learned of the German invasion before hand, and prepared their troops into defensive positions further back, before they launched their offensive, trapped them, and encircled them completely. Welcome to a repeat of history. I just can’t believe NATO walked right into that one.

The situation in Kursk reminds me of when I was a child on summer vacation in Cape Cod. I loved to go out into the Bay when the tide was out and build a sand castle and then see how long it would last once the tide came in. Of course I knew ultimately the ocean would win and there was no chance anything I made out there in the sand would last against the rising tide. The Ukrainians encountered little resistance when they took Kursk and for a time it looked impressive but ultimately there was never any hope they could actually remain there once the Russian Tide came in. Well, I guess it was fun while it lasted!

Russians don’t forget history and according history they are adjusting their offensives against enemies and this makes them victorious and they will winthis war in any cost.

For all those who are confused about questions of how many soldiers there are in battalion, during this year 2024. it is obvious that UAF have lots of battalions that suffered so many losses, and were not capable of repopulating the number of soldiers in same, so there is many battalions on the line of combat that have 30-40% of the troops, and that is why number of companies or platoons in the same are not real numbers that one battalion usually have.

The Kursk operation is a failure and a significant strategic blunder for the UAF, they have wasted some of their best units that could have been used to slow down the Russians in the Donbas, just plain ol’ bad leadership.

3 platoons is not a battalion. Takes at least 3 platoons to make one company. And a company is about 90 troops. A battalion is up to about 1000 troops
