The chances of any peace treaty in next 6 months are ZERO.
One of the goals of SMO is demilitarization of Ukraine, and the Istanbul Agreement stipulated that Ukraine will be neutral country with an army of no more than 50.000 and pretty much with no air force , and very small number of heavy equipment.
Chances of Zelensky being able to sign this without getting shot by Azov are zero.
Ergo, the SMO will continue for a while longer.

Well if pockets of resistance exist in Toretsk, that means that Ukraine has gone from active warfare to Partizan war.
That also means that they are having kamikaze troops who main purpose is to die and never surrender.
Interesting, but I never heard that anyone actually win war that way. Specially if geography and logistics is not working in their favor.
