The Western Narrative vs. Russian Reality: Who’s Actually Falling Behind?
By Military TV
The Western Narrative vs. Russian Reality: Who’s Actually Falling Behind? – For two years, Western media claimed Russia was running out of weapons, ammo, and men. But behind the headlines, Moscow quietly ramped up production—restoring old equipment, sourcing arms abroad, and building a massive missile stockpile. With over 500 cruise and ballistic missiles reportedly ready, has the West underestimated Russia’s long-term war strategy? Or is it falling behind in a new arms race? Watch the full video to uncover the details!
Here’s what others had to say:
@reptile9709
Russia running low on weapons meanwhile Ukraine being back by all of NATO and still can’t beat a country “low” on weapons is crazy.
@danuwinartha
Russian using old stockpile to clear the space needed for new one.
@EdgardoMartinez-n4s
What russian tank a year…they build 1500 tanks a year it is according to a western expert.
@TheBachela
You said that the current Russian production is modest compared to NATO standards. This is false! NATO has already admitted that Russian weapons production is far greater than they can imagine!
@davidrennie4777
Russia has a technological edge as well, better technology, the hypersonic missile is just one example.
@SunriseLAW
While the Germans were massively invading from the west, Russia was cranking out 2,000 tanks per month in Siberian factories. Since then, Russia greatly increased its weapon production capacity. In addition to large stockpiles, they “turn on” factories to produce large quantity of the weapons needed for the war currently being fought.
@Sam-dm4kz
Russians are producing 2000 KH in 90 days and 3000 scander m in 90 days these production rates are going up each day due expansion of assembly line as Patrick Lancaster a western journalist reported few months back.
@modisaramoleko
This war was a referendum on Western media and its vaunted independence, values, and integrity. To reproduce with such slavish fidelity narratives so improbable and manifestly false is nothing less than a death knell for traditional journalism. Russia crumbling before a low-pedigree (militarily) non-entity like Ukraine, when it had repelled Napoleon’s hordes and the full might of the Wermacht – not a scenario even a high school history student would find plausible.
Digital journalism, unattached from big media empires, and with all the attendant AI gremlins, is the future
@smobach
Around the peak of the cold war i was stationed in Germany. They told us we were superior in our weapons/tanks. Same time they told the tank guys: ‘in direct battle with the Russians you have a survival time of ….. 7 minutes’. So …. as a young guy (17 years old) some question marks were overloading my mind like: “????what the F. are they telling us here????¨.
Later it became clear to me: if the Russians really wanted they would have destroyed us big. No doubt about it. And our ‘superiors’ knew it.
@kentriat2426
In 2022 the Russian military was still in the rebuilding phase having just rebuilt its nuclear weapons stock and submarines fleet. Aircraft were being refurbished as was the start to repairing navel surface ships.
The army that invaded was expected to have a peace treaty in place within three months and then withdrawn back to Russia.
This ill prepared army has been rebuilt and if we are a little generous this army has now destroyed three armies built by the west with Ukraine resources.
Now Russia has brought together all its industries capacity assisted by its specialist military scientists to form an ever increasing and more component force across all three services.
@utsobie2429
The fact that the us is calling the great russia a country that is low on resources is real funny especially when its just digging its own grave man and going on self destruct is hilarious
@robbypolter6689
General Breuer, Inspector General of the Bundeswehr, the highest position in the Bundeswehr and simultaneously the “right-hand man” of the Federal Minister of Defense in the Bundeswehr, admitted in an interview with the ARD news agency that Russia builds between 1,000 and 1,500 tanks a year. Germany, in contrast, builds a maximum of 120 per year. Including modernizations, the figure is just 170 tanks per year. The last Inspector General of the Bundeswehr, for which he was forced to resign, concluded that in its current state, the Bundeswehr is unable to fulfill the Federal Republic of Germany’s defense mission. As early as 2019, a Bundestag debate revealed that the Bundeswehr is only 53 percent operationally ready. Over 28,000 Bundeswehr positions are vacant. Even the 100 billion euros in special funds (another name for loans here in Germany) have not changed the Bundeswehr’s situation at all. The federal government has only increased its debt by 100 billion euros.
@thebritishengineer8027
60 tanks a year…??? 238 brand new T80M’s rolled off the production line so far this year. You can add 20% of that figure in BMP 3’s. And that’s after slpw down to incoprate new targeting, armour and anti-drone defence. Russia is an industrial power house.
@rpk321
The West made Schrödinger Cat out of Russia.
They are simultaneously too weak to win against Ukraine and so strong that they can totally invade Western Europe all the way the the Rhine, or even Spain.
That is AFTER they are done being bloodied and bruised in Ukraine.
I was like: “So, which is it!?”
@m2-x-n253
To even think about it like this…RUSSIA is CRAZY powerhouse….the headlines always says “RUSSIA VS MULTIPLE WESTERN/EUROPEAN COUNTRIES”….like dayum, and RUSSIA has literally won the war.
RUSSIA was literally USSR, so to say they didn’t lower their military equipments is stupid, yes they did lower their military, but it was a huge empire once all together,so even if USSR lowered their weapon counts, RUSSIA still has that lowered military equipments, which is still a lot for RUSSIA and it’s enemies.
@KarlVonSttugart
According to one foreign expat he saw a Russian jet that got in an accident that has a small tree trunk stuck in one of it’s engines while the rest of it’s engines kept in flying as if nothing has happened and it landed down, the pilot unharmed and the engine just simply replaced with a new one and the damaged engine examined and repaired within days because everything was designed and built to be so simple that nothing will fail unless it is deliberately or accidentally damaged. Built to last, maintenance-free, repair-free, and trouble-free and will keep on functioning and will last as long as it exists.
@katidavid1244
The war was always about numbers. The germans in ww. 2 had the best technologies and they lost the war. The russians have more tanks arteliers and planes. Who has more army vehicles and guns and these can be easyli produce this will win.
