Ukraine is Running Out of Soldiers

Ukraine is Running Out of Soldiers

By HistoryLegends

Ukraine faces a shortage of manpower and has to call for yet another wave of mobilization. The reason behind this is battle attrition, but also the looming arrival of Russian reinforcements.

Here’s what others had to say:

We went from Russia is running out of rockets to Ukraine is running out of men. Truly the war of all time.

When I was a reservist, we had to turn up once a week for drill and lectures, once a month for skills training and twice a year we had to attend an exercise and a course. Over the years, our training prepared us for war and, in case the poo hit the fan, we were to be trained for a minimum of two months to bring us up to the standard of regular soldiers. A Joe Bloggs with no previous training would need at least six months of intensive training to be considered an effective soldier. With six days, to a trained soldier, the newby is a burden. And it can cost an experienced soldier his life. Now multiply that by tens of thousands and you’d get an approximate picture of what’s happening in Ukraine. Sad, really!

Important to notice: KIA does not equal total deaths. KIA means that the soldier died in the battlefield without receiving medical treatment. There is also a category called DOW (died of wounds), which means the soldier was wounded in action brought to a medical treatement facility, and died after receiving medical attention. (USA in WW2 had 300 k KIA and 150 k DOW = 450 k total deaths)

Thank you for spending the time showing the truth about this Ukraine conflict. This channel does a better job than 100% of the mainstream media.

During the Vietnam war (u s vs Vietnam) I knew a bartender who was my friend whose father paid the federal recruiter 5,000.00 to have him exempted. It worked.
I was entered into the national guard because my boss was the company sergeant who recommended me. National guard was exempt from going to Vietnam war. Saved my life.
It goes on in each war. It’s all in who you know.

Man that part about Ed was really emotional ngl i feel bad for him and I hope he lives a happy afterlife im sure he didn’t deserve it but the world is just like that sometimes i hope the others around him don’t share his faith.

I’m honestly shocked Russia was able to weaken Ukraine’s army with only shovels at their disposal.

Even here in Serbia if you want to enlist as a reservist you have to go through 6 months of training. And that literally just gets you the basics. Even 2-3 months isnt enough for a war of this scale. All our fathers here served 1 year in the Yugoslav military to be called reservists.

With the leaked documents, history legends has been consistently direct in its assessment of the Russo Ukrainian war. You do fantastic work I pray this war comes to a swift conclusion, too many lives have been lost.

Problem with mixing veterans with newbis in such an extrem scenario is, that the veterans will not likely make the newbies stronger, but the newbies drag the veterans down.
A chain is as tough as its weakest link, as it is said. A single mistake of a single soldiers can easily have devastating consequences for the whole group.
Not against mix up, but you can’t send them into hell. You need to put them in action behind the frontline, so they got time to grow and learn. There is no time for that in Bakhmut and alike.

When I was a Canadian army reserve recruiter in 2004, the minimum amount of training a Canadian army reservist would receive before being deployed to Afghanistan was 8 weeks of Basic, 8 weeks of trades training, and 6 months of pre-deployment build up training. That’s a minimum 10 months of training for a low intensity war.

When U Think U Know
Honestly it can go without being said here, but in a good majority of situations in this war and on the front especially, idgaf if you are a 15+ year Navy Seal Commander, a full on Battle Hardened MoFo to the core, training isn’t going to save you from a hit when your being recklessly sent into direct fire/bombing of the enemy forces etc etc.

Countries do these extremes in war, I’m ex 0331 in the U.S. Marines and served in Iraq, and although we didn’t get drafted. I know a ton of Army Soldiers and Leatherneck Grunts I served with who were scheduled to get out at a certain date, but got Stop-Lossed and forced to do another deployment or 2. So it happens, no matter what countries army it is. 🤷‍♂️ So do what you got to do out there, because it’s not going to stop anytime soon.

Ukraine during Russian mobilization: We don’t force people into the military unlike those barbarians.
Also Ukraine: Get into the van, you filthy animal!
