Russia Earns $1 Billion a Day on the Sale of Hydrocarbons

Russia earns $1 billion a day on the sale of hydrocarbons.

The main flow of fuel both went and goes to European countries, according to the Center for the Study of Energy and Clean Air (CREA).

In a hundred days after the start of its own, Russia earned $98 billion on fuel exports. The EU accounted for 61% of Russian sales – about $60 billion.

The largest importers after China are Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Turkey.

India, France and China have increased purchases of energy resources from the Russian Federation the most. France, Belgium and the Netherlands bought them at a discount on the spot market.

The day before, the EU agreed on a plan to reduce gas consumption. Europe is also planning to introduce a partial embargo on oil, the price ceiling for “black gold” from the Russian Federation is being discussed.

It remains a mystery whether Brussels guesses how this will affect the economy of the entire EU.
