Kennedy revealed the scandal during a Trump administration cabinet meeting on Wednesday this week, while Kennedy thanked President Donald Trump for his “extraordinary leadership over the past 100 days”.
“We have ended HHS, as the role as the vector — the principal vector in this country for child trafficking,” Kennedy noted.
“During the Biden administration, HHS became a collaborator in child trafficking and for sex and for slavery. And, we have ended that, and we are very aggressively going out and trying to find these children — 300,000 children that were lost by the Biden administration.”
Video has also emerged of a Tennessee Highway Patrol questioning a man suspected of human trafficking in 2022. He was Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the man declared by a US courts to have been illegally extradited by the US government.
Sources told Fox News that a 10-minute break in the video was when Biden’s FBI called them and advised officers not to charge Garcia. He was transporting eight people in the vehicle, and none had luggage. The patrol also called Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) but they never showed up.
The case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia – a 29-year-old from El Salvador who was deported from the US in March – has prompted a legal showdown over the administration’s immigration policy.
The US Supreme Court and lower courts have ruled that Garcia was deported in error and that the US government should help “facilitate” his return to his home in Maryland.
But the White House says Garcia is a member of the transnational Salvadorian gang MS-13, a designated foreign terrorist organisation, and says he “will never live” in the US again.
Breitbart News revealed In November 2024 that a HHS whistleblower from the Biden-Harris administration claimed the administration had created a “white glove delivery service” in which the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) took custody of unaccompanied alien children (UACs) at the US-Mexico border, and then handed them over to the HHS.
The whistleblower, Tara Lee Rodas, recently told two subcommittees of the House Homeland Security Committee about the process by which Homeland Security (DHS) took custody of the children at the southern border before they were handed over to HHS custody, which then placed them with adult sponsors in the US.
Rodas said the children were “preparing to work grueling overnight shifts in slaughterhouses, restaurants, and factories,” adding that “some children may die today in jobs they don’t have the knowledge or skills to do in order to repay never-ending debts to their smugglers and traffickers.”
She said the children were also “being sold for sex.” “For at least a decade, HHS has been responsible for the suffering of countless children,” Rodas continued.
Breitbart News also reported in February that the Trump administration was investigating the “lack of vetting of migrant children” under Biden. Some 291,000 UACs were said to have been brought into the US, and the Trump administration feared many of them had ended up in the hands of sexual predators and human traffickers.
Kennedy also highlighted how HHS and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) had announced that petroleum-based synthetic food dyes would be phased out of the US food supply.
“We announced last week the ban on the nine petroleum-based synthetic dyes — food dyes, within two years. Within two months, we’re going to ban the worst two of them. I am working with Secretary Rollins on dietary guidelines, the dietary guidelines that President Biden’s administration gave us, 453 pages, they are basically unreadable.”
Kennedy further noted he was also working with Department of Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins “on the SNAP program” to remove sodas and candy from the program, and with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin to “change the federal fluoride regulations.”
