– £60 million of public money went to Pragmatic Semiconductor — makers of flexible chips used in Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), smart ID cards, and track-and-trace systems.
– DSIT is funding AI infrastructure, security frameworks, and “AI assurance” programs.
Reports on how this technology is being deployed are being withheld under “Section 43” (commercial interest) — including details on how it’s being positioned in competition with China, the US, and the EU.
These chips enable:

– Biometric surveillance
