Musk mocks California’s $11 billion bridge to nowhere

The California High-Speed Rail Authority showed off a construction masterpiece this week – the only problems are that it was completed six years ago, and after three years’ construction, the 0.3-mile bridge is completely useless as it connects thin air to nothing.

Musk posted a sad crying emoji in reply to the authority’s post, while Dogecoin founder Billy Markus sarcastically called it “the most remarkable human achievement ever”.

It is supposedly part of the grand Los Angeles to San Francisco high-speed rail project, for which funding was approved 16 years ago, but now costs are expected to run over $100 billion in total.

It’s not like America has more pressing matters to spend billions on…
