BREAKING: 38 POLITICIANS KILLED IN MEXICO THIS YEAR
At least 23 political candidates were killed while campaigning before the elections. This includes one mayoral hopeful whose murder was captured on camera last week.
Just today, a gunman killed Yolanda Sánchez, the female mayor of Cotija, just hours after Claudia Sheinbaum was elected as Mexico’s first woman president.
It has been a violent year for politics in Mexico.
