Trump Claims that Zelensky Agreed to Limit Attacks on Russian Oil Refineries in Order to Curb the Rise in Diesel Prices

“The big problem is that oil refineries are being blown up in Russia. It’s not so much a problem of the Middle East as it is a Russian problem – Ukraine and Russia are at war with each other. And Ukraine is attacking diesel production facilities in Russia because a significant portion of refining takes place there. So, the situation is indeed quite interesting. I spoke with President Zelensky. I told him: ‘You need to limit the attacks on the refineries, if possible.’ He responded: ‘Well, we’ll probably do that, because we’re creating a problem for the whole world.’ There are other things that can be done.”
Trump also stated that he is considering a ban on diesel exports from the United States.
