CNN’s lone conservative Scott Jennings faced off with Obama bag man David Axelrod this week over Trump’s disagreement with the Supreme Court on mail-in ballots.
Axelrod and some others on the panel had been huffing and puffing about President Trump speaking out against the court’s recent decision on the matter.
Jennings reminded Axelrod of the time that Obama scolded the justices of the Supreme Court to their faces during a State of the Union address over the Citizens United decision in 2010.
He also pointed out that mail-in ballots are not nearly as reliable as in-person voting and used real world examples to make his point.

“You know, I’m trying to rack my brain, Axe, about a time when an American president attacked the U.S. Supreme Court over something they were mad about as it related to elections. And, you know, 2010 — in a speech that I’m sure you wrote, President Obama stood at the lectern at the State of the Union and excoriated the justices over Citizens United. This is hardly the first time a president has been upset with the Supreme Court, and it will not be the last.”
“I think President Trump is speaking to an issue that bothers people today. Can you trust the mail-in ballot system? I was reading a story from a nonpartisan journalism outfit in Arizona today. Did you know, in the primary this summer, something like 50,000 mail ballots never reached their intended recipient? In ‘24, it was 71,000 ballots. Mail-in ballots are inherently less safe, less secure, and less reliable than voting in person. He’s always believed that. Now, whether this all came too late, that’s what the Court said, but to say people aren’t worried about it is false.”
“50,00 ballots didn’t reach their address in — in just one state!”

Whatever CNN is paying Scott Jennings, it isn’t nearly enough.
It’s amazing that he has to go up against these liberals night after night.
