Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar warned on Tuesday that Israel has “tools” it “will act against” the UK with if London imposes sanctions over Israel’s planned E1 settlement project.
“If Britain acts against Israel, Israel will act against Britain,” Saar said in an interview with the Hebrew-language Ynet podcast, shortly after British Foreign Secretary David Lammy reiterated that London intends to announce a “comprehensive” package of measures against Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank in the coming weeks.
